This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website theturingtable.com, sign up for our events or mailing list, or otherwise interact with us online or offline.

1. Who is the data controller?

We then delete or anonymize the data.
5. Who gets access to your data?
We share data only with service providers that help us operate the website and events:
- Netlify - website hosting and form submissions (EU POP)
- Simple Analytics - privacy-friendly website analytics (if enabled)
- Eventbrite - optional event ticketing (Ireland data centre)
- Email delivery provider - newsletter delivery when you explicitly opt in
We do not sell or lease your data to third parties. Transfers outside the EEA rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and additional safeguards.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
The current website does not use marketing cookies. If privacy-friendly analytics are enabled, they are configured without cross-site tracking cookies.
If we later enable cookie-based analytics or marketing tools, we will update this notice before they go live.
7. Your rights under GDPR
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erase your data ("right to be forgotten").
- Restrict or object to processing.
- Data portability (receive a copy in a structured format).
- Withdraw consent at any time (does not affect past processing).

If you believe we have infringed your privacy rights, you may lodge a complaint with Datatilsynet (The Danish Data Protection Agency) at www.datatilsynet.dk.
8. Security
We use HTTPS in transit, limit access to the tools we use to operate the service, and rely on processor security controls provided by our hosting and ticketing vendors.
9. Children
Our services are not directed at individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and, if changes are material, notify subscribers via email.
